Steely Heart opened the show with their brand of disco-punk, followed by CMCB who rapped the floor away. Hao Yun surprised the Folk fans with his blues harmonica and Chinese traditional strings… “like a breeze of fresh air”. Liquid Oxygen Tin performed metal music tinged with oriental flavor. Reggae band Longshendao shook the floor with their masterpieces “Yaobai”, “Yongbao” and “Manmanfei”. While Ordnance wasn’t able to make the event, VooDoo KungFu brought in a little darkness with their “Dark Age” music, triggering the climax of Pogo dancing in the audience. Luo Qi ended the Midi Award Live show with her classic Hard Rock songs “Suixinsuoyu” and “Woshiyizhixiaoxiaoniao”.
